Evolution Greenhouse office/studio, 1998
birch veneered plywood

This home-based graphic design office
and studio was built in a left-over
space between the kitchen and back
door, adjacent to a bedroom.

Included in the design is an expansive
primary desktop surface, a second workspace
for a future employee, ample storage above
and below for reference materials and books,
a specialized storage area for a computer
hard drive, printer and scanner and a flip-up
desktop for client meetings that is stored
in the down position when not in use. All of
this with plenty of circulation space left
over to move between neighboring rooms!

It was such a success, an inaugural
party was thrown in its honor.
