The transluscent walls of this
reception desk, which allow light
to pass through, give it a minimal
prescence and prevent it from
distracting from the artwork.
The desk sits at a slight cant off
of the regular grid of the heavy
timber-framed space, which
welcomes visitors and directs
them into the main gallery space.
This delicate and functional solution
was within a very limited budget and
tight time frame.
